Terms of Service for Makeup On The Run

Thank you for choosing the services of Makeup On The Run. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our makeup services and any related products or services offered by Makeup On The Run. By booking an appointment or availing yourself of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Offered

Makeup On The Run offers professional makeup and hair services, wedding photography, microblading, including but not limited to makeup lessons, consultations, and character makeup. The specific details of the services provided will be discussed and agreed upon before each appointment.

2. Appointment Booking and Cancellation

To book an appointment, please contact Makeup On The Run via phone, email, or book online here. A $100 deposit is required to secure your appointment, and the remaining balance will be due on the day of service. Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 2 days in advance; otherwise, the deposit may be forfeited.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information regarding your skin type, allergies, sensitivities, and any other relevant details that may impact the makeup application. Please ensure that you communicate your preferences, desired look, and any specific products you would like to use or avoid during the consultation.

4. Consent for Photography and Marketing

By receiving makeup, hair, microblading, and or photography services from Makeup On The Run, you grant permission for photographs and/or videos to be taken during and after the application process and service. These images may be used for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, portfolios, advertisements, and printed materials. However, we respect your privacy, and your personal information will never be shared without your explicit consent.

5. Confidentiality

Makeup On The Run understands the importance of client confidentiality. All personal and sensitive information shared during consultations or makeup sessions will be kept strictly confidential, except as required by law or with your express consent.

6. Payment and Refunds

Payment for services can be made in cash, Square, PayPal, and or through any other mutually agreed-upon method. All fees are non-refundable.

7. Liability and Indemnification

Makeup On The Run, including its makeup artists, hairstylists, microblading technicians, and photographers, will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing makeup, hair, microblading, and photography services. However, it is important to understand that individual reactions to makeup products, hair supplies, microblading procedures, and photography techniques may vary. You agree that Makeup On The Run, its employees, makeup artists, hairstylists, microblading technicians, and photographers will not be held liable for any allergic reactions, injuries, or damages resulting from the makeup application, hair services, microblading procedures, or advice provided. By using our services, you agree to indemnify and hold Makeup On The Run, its employees, makeup artists, hairstylists, microblading technicians, and photographers harmless from any claims, costs, or damages arising from the use of our services.

8. Modifications to Terms

Makeup On The Run reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on our website or notifying you directly. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates. By continuing to use our services after any modifications, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of California. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of California.
